SoundCast #8 – SouthPunk (ISR)

This week we welcome a true underground hero. From the holy land Israel, get your earholes ready for : SOUTHPUNK !!

Hailing from the town of Kiryat Gat, this humble guy has been on the creative hustle for a number of years, making sound that no one else dreams of creating. His heart and soul goes into each and every production and his drive to improve and evolve is very hard to match.

His sound is best described as bold and heavily inspired from the land and scene he hails from, the sort of stuff that will place your spiritual being right in the thick of a middle eastern desert rave. No wonder Yuli Fershtat can’t get enough of this techno gangster, inviting Southpunk to exclusively release on Digital Structures since 2018. This podcast has a mix of his releases blended in with unreleased material that will have the souls of your feet on that PHD shuffle frenzy.

The future of this genre scape is looking healthy and with guys like Southpunk leading the way for the next wave of producers, we can be rest assured that our ears are in very good hands.
