SixthSense Presents – Grouch (NZ) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Our most recent SixthSense event saw one of the most stacked psychedelic line-ups ever hosted at a nightclub.

Flowing with the element of Earth as our theme, our crew curated a night through sound, sight and touch to bring the aura of mother nature to My Aeon.

Our headliner Grouch really sent the place into a manic of psychedelic frenzy, as expected, his live manipulation of his own sound really does make that special difference, and we could see that translate into indescribable energy on the dancefloor. Zenon artist Eartheogen was the perfect pre-cursor for Grouch, his stripped-back style of bush-prog was the perfect catalyst for our crowd to get their groove on. Victor Y (aka Bass To Pain converter) was on warm-up duties earlier in the night, with sleek tech grooves having psychedelic elements weaved through constantly throughout his set. The rest of the support line-up in Maxi Basshead, KUNI, Unknown Concept, Timmus, Jedidiah & Chris Hall really drove home that SixthSense mantra through their own sonic steeze.

We were also blown away (by surprise) by DreadFull Creations’ stage design and build, with these adventurous lads replicating the SixthSense logo into a massive stage front. This was visually brought to life by Visualaurax’s visuals, who literally made the eye of the stage blink like an alien form. You can imagine people’s faces and imaginations twist and turn each time they gazed at our stage. Special mention goes to Kieran Birchall who also built an amazing stage in the upstairs room, Infinity mirrors galore. This dude is one to watch out for at our events in the future.

We couldn’t be more grateful for the wonderful people that make up our vibrant community. Everyone from artist down to patron really brought their best selves to our space and contributed their all to make this a special night for all. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
